Nicholas Read

Nicholas is the Knowledge, Evidence, Research and Learning (KERL) Technical Lead for GESS and is responsible for the implementation of the KERL Component deliverables on behalf of the Programme.

Nicholas joined the GESS team in 2019, prior to which he worked on programmes in Africa – Namibia, Rwanda, South Sudan, Kenya, Zanzibar, Uganda, Nigeria. Middle East – Lebanon. South East Asia – Lao PDR, Philippines and Myanmar. Central Asia –  Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan. Caucuses: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia.

Nicholas has successfully completed 52 projects over a 20 year career in international development in the education sector.
