GESS cash transfer payments paused for Christmas holidays

We would like to inform the public that the GESS cash transfer process will be put on hold over the Christmas holidays.  

 Girls who have not yet received the money will do so once schools reopen in January for Academic Year 2024.  

 All girls who have not been paid yet must keep their cash transfer enrolment forms safe and have it on their person on the payment day.  

 Cash transfers are given to schoolgirls from Primary 5 to Primary 8, Secondary 1 to Secondary 4, and girls in the Accelerated Learning Programme, levels 3 and 4. The money is intended to lessen the financial burden of education on families and to allow girls to purchase education-enabling items.
