Agnieszka is a staff member of Cambridge Education who first joined GESS in 2013. She is responsible for leading the quality education component of the Programme. This includes improving the quality of lessons through training of head teachers and teachers, strengthening effectiveness of School Management Committees/Boards of Governors, building capacity of school supervisors, supporting learners to continue education through mentoring programme and assist learners who dropped out or joined school late through support to alternative education system.

In her career, she has supported Ministries of Education in the development of national strategies for inclusive education and teacher deployment, facilitated development of curriculum for teacher education, training and training plans for teachers and school governing bodies, she worked at policy level and directly with teachers and learners. She is interested in policy development, strategic planning, early childhood education and innovative approaches to training of teachers. She is “big” on coordination and networking and strongly believes in sector wide approach.

She holds a UCL IoE Master’s degree in Educational Planning and Economics, a UMK Bachelor’s degree in Early Grades Pedagogy and Teaching and UMASS Early Grades Reading Certificate. She has worked in South Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan, Nepal, Poland and the United Kingdom.
