Daniel Gesaka

Daniel is a highly motivated Grants Manager with a decade of experience in implementing process improvement, business planning, analysis and the management of a range of projects at both a local and international level.

As Grants Manager for the GESS programme, Daniel provides oversight of the Programme’s Cash Transfers and Capitations Grants initiatives.

Prior to joining the Girls’ Education team, Daniel worked with Norwegian Peoples’s Aid for nine years in South Sudan, the Horn of Africa and Nairobi.managing grants from multi-lateral donors and a range of development agencies, dealing effectively with multimillion-dollar budgets.

Daniel is a CPA and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. His undergraduate work and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance is from Kenya Methodist University and he holds a MSc in Project Management from the University of Liverpool.  Daniel is also an active supporter of Children’s Education and Human Rights causes.
