Tawanda Madhangi

Tawanda is the Deputy Team Leader for GESS. Tawanda joined the GESS team in June 2019, prior to which he worked on programmes in the Swaziland, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, South Sudan and Somalia for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, World Vision International and SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, respectively.

Tawanda holds a BSc in Psychology Honours and an MSc in Population Studies from University of Zimbabwe.

Tawanda is an avid community development practitioner and enjoys working in both stable and fragile economies. He enjoys working in programmes that promote community ownership and engagement of multi-stakeholder partnerships.
