Monybuny Tim William is currently Monitoring and Evaluation Lead for GESS. Tim has ten years working experience in South Sudan and Kenya, including roles such as Coordinator for State Affairs at the Ministry of General Education and Instruction and the Deputy Director for Data and Statistics, as well as experience working on programmes for USAID, the American Institute for Research and UNICEF. Tim has skills in monitoring & evaluation, education policy, research, governance, project planning and management.
Tim left his home country of South Sudan in the late 90s and went to Ethiopia in search for education and safety. He went to the Apostles of Jesus Philosophicum in Nairobi, where he graduated with Bachelor of Philosophy in 2006.
In 2008, Tim was appointed as education attachee at regional cooperation office in Nairobi for Government of then Southern Sudan. In that year, he went to Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) to pursue postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Education. He is currently pursuing Master’s in applied philosophy and Ethics from Strathmore University- Nairobi/Kenya.
